Despite having the most points going into the world championship finals, they were unable to win the series and ended up in second place.

With a win at Champions, Evil Geniuses' VALORANT squad concluded the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023 season. The team had an amazing 2023, going from just missing out on the VCT Americas playoffs to surpassing all expectations and coming dangerously close to winning an international title at Masters Tokyo. They went one step further at Champions, where they won VALORANT Champions and made history as the first North American team to win the title on home turf in Los Angeles. Late in the season, EG's Game Changers squad also made a strong push to earn a spot in the VCT Game Changers
